Workshop on Semantics and Decision Making

The decision junctions within Business Process Models are a critical component for effective BPM.
Despite the importance of decision component in business in general- and in BPM in particular, there is a lack of direct and formal linkage between Decision Support Systems (DSS) science and Business Process Management (BPM) research.
We will aim to establish and formalize this important link at the SEDES workshop, taking place in Graz, Austria Graz, Austria, September 10th, 2013.

The honorable program committee includes a list of top scientists and practitioners in the field of information technology, and we are proud to also take part in this initiative.
Here are some of the BPM related topics:

  • DSS for BPM (Business Process Management)
  • Business Process Generation and Modeling DSS
  • Business Process Governance DSS
  • Business Process Improvement DSS
